How to Achieve CCCX Certification?

For CX practitioners seeking formal recognition of their expertise, CCCX certification is achieved by passing one of the many Customer Institute certified courses offered by training organizations around the globe or online.

You can find a list of all CCCX qualifying courses in the training section of the Global CX Community, which is free to join. Qualifying courses end with a short exam, and passing this optional exam will earn you CCCX certification.

Real Expertise Does Not Expire!

We believe that a career in experience management with proven achievements in learning does not require eternal renewals of an earned certification! This is why only our initial CCCX certification has a limited validity for three years. Once you show your continued expertise in the industry by renewing your CCCX once after no less than two years, your CCCX certification turns into a lifetime certificate that needs no further renewal.

Earning your CCCX certification grants you special privileges, including membership to an exclusive community of CCCXs worldwide. This select group is part of the Global CX Community and reserved for CCCX graduates. As a CCCX, you will enjoy all the benefits of our paid PRO membership within the Global CX Community, at no additional cost to you. Seamless, Decentralized Certification Process

Our certification process is designed for your convenience. Trainers authorized by the Customer Institute conduct certified training sessions, administer exams, and issue certifications through the Customer Institute upon successful completion of the course. This decentralized approach allows you to receive an official CCCX certificate, offering not only recognition but also a significant milestone in your journey towards CX excellence.

We Honor Selected Third-Party Certifications for your CCCX Certification

Our philosophy is that you should not have to keep proving yourself over and over again. This is why we honor selected third-party certifications as one or two of your required certifications to earn lifelong CCCX certification. At this time, we honor CXPA’s Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) certification. Additional third-party certifications are under review and will be added later.

We believe that true expertise never expires. This is why we consider two significant certifications with at least two years between them a proof of expertise that deserves lifetime certification as a Certified Customer Centricity Expert (lifetime CCCX).

We honor CCXP certifications (expired and current) issued by the CXPA as such significant certifications. 

If you hold

  1. a third-party certification (e.g. CCXP) with an expiration date, AND
  2. a second, valid or expired third-party certification AND
  3. the two are at least two years apart

then you can get out of the recurring re-certification hassle of your third-party certificates, and redeem the two into a lifetime CCCX today.

The application process happens here within the Global CX Community, which you can join for free. There is a fee of 100 Euro or the equivalent in local currencies available for this Path 3 redemption. This fee includes lifetime access to the CCCX part of the Global CX Community including all features of the paid PRO membership in the community. You will be moved from your free membership to the CCCX membership at no additional cost to you once your redemption has been approved. Do not purchase the PRO membership when joining the Global CX Community, you will receive it for free once your redemption has been approved.

Start Your Journey to CCCX Today!

You can find a list of all CCCX qualifying courses in the training section of the Global CX Community, which is free to join. Qualifying courses end with a short exam, and passing this optional exam will earn you CCCX certification.

CCCX certification is then administered by your training provider who reports your exam results to the Customer Institute. You will receive your CCCX certificate in different formats – PDF and electronic for your social profiles – directly from the Customer Institute. All training and certification fees for this Path 1 are collected by your training provider; you do not need to make additional payments to the Customer Institute.

Whenever you pass your second exam for a CCCX qualifying course with at least two years since you passed your first one, we believe that you are a customer centricity expert who has proven their expertise over several years in the industry. One of your two CCCX qualifying courses must be a “Masterclass”, i.e. a comprehensive program on experience management from A to Z. The other CCCX qualifying course can be special topical course, e.g. on customer journey mapping, or voice-of-the-customer programs.

If these criteria are met, our second CCCX certification you receive from the Customer Institute will automatically be a Lifetime CCCX with updated certificate, social badge, and lifetime access to the CCCX community including all paid PRO features of the Global CX Community at no additional cost.

From now on, you don’t need to renew your CCCX certification ever again.
